By their nature, most normal recording studios can feel alien and uncomfortable. Sill & Glade is not a normal recording studio. It's remote enough to exhale the music business nonsense and let your creativity run wild. It feels like your space (with a built-in friend, CJ) instead of a hypercritical box staffed by someone who couldn't care less about your recording. Truly one of the best recording experiences of my life. I’ve recorded in some amazing rooms and this was on par with the best of them. Getting to wake up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise daily, drink coffee on the deck, and record all day with a mountain range view was unparalleled.

I would highly recommend anyone to Sill & Glade Cabin for any recording needs. CJ is awesome to work with and a musical genius. It has been amazing to see the time, effort and care that has gone into this project by CJ and all the artists he brings in to support the needs of the project. He treats every song as if its something of his own and wants the best sound and options for it. Also makes the cabin available to stay in for multiple-day rentals. We stayed at Sill & Glade for two days to record the foundation tracks for an album. Our experience was better than we had hoped for. The sound was great, the space was comfortable and we were very pleased to work with CJ who engineered the project. Instantly we could tell he was into making something good as much as we were. This place is a dream come true. A creative oasis. The folks that run this place are top-notch. CJ is a great audio engineer and Sill & Glade is an excellent spot to record your next record. I’ve always felt right at home every time I go there. The main tracking room has a sound that is second to none. The atmosphere and vibe is inspiring. By far one of the best places to record and feel creative. CJ, the lead engineer, is adaptive and goes with the flow so well. Not to mention the amount of high end gear he has available from drums and guitars, to effect-pedals and an upright piano, to a mandolin and accordion. Whatever creative itch you have, Sill & Glade is the remedy. CJ has also done live recordings for us... in a CAVE... yes a cave.. Grand Caverns to be specific. With no power, CJ adapted to recording us using only battery-pack mics and his expertise. Recordings turned out amazing btw! Truly amazing stuff and only amazing content will come outta Sill & Glade.- Strong Water
Not only do they have one of the best views in the valley, but they’ve also curated a beautiful space and an environment that’s perfect for both creative projects and quality time. CJ is also an incredibly talented engineer and producer and made our tracking process seamless with quick setup and confident direction. Thrilled with the recorded quality of everything we created here and being able to stay onsite in such a beautiful place made the whole experience especially memorable.- Sam Valentine
